The heart of a wedding…

or vow renewal ceremony is your love story. Your friends and family hear about what brought you together, what you love about one another, and what you envision for your future.  We incorporate symbols and spiritual or cultural traditions that feel resonate or meaningful to you. I’ll also invite you to consider other elements and rituals that express the unique nature of who you are — your story and relationship.

As your wedding celebrant I will:

• Meet with you for a complimentary consultation (via phone or Skype if necessary) so that we can get to know one another  — what you envision for your ceremony, and how I’ll work with you as your celebrant.

• Listen deeply and ask illuminating questions (through interviews and questionnaire).      “We quickly read through the questionnaire and love the questions you asked and topics you’ve prompted us to consider – exciting stuff!”  -a bride

• Research, create and write a moving and personally meaningful ceremony — a ceremony that you and your family and friends will remember and be inspired by far into the future.

• Edit and revise with you until every word and element rings true.

• Rehearse the ceremony with you at your venue. Coordinate with other event and venue staff (photographers, musicians, etc.) providing cue sheets and reading cards when appropriate.

• Joyfully, graciously and professionally perform your ceremony so that you can be fully present to this moving ritual and all the intention and love that surrounds you.

• File all necessary paperwork.

• Create and present you with a beautiful hand-bound keepsake copy of your ceremony.
